  Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay in Poipu. The unit was very clean. On the main floor, no stairs to climb for grandma. Stocked with all the kitchen tools and a few spices, oil etc. left by other travellers. Great to have washer dryer, washing pods provided. Big balcony, we ate all of our meals here. Warm pool. Membership at sports club is great for young kids, shallow pool and small slide. To “kiddie” for my 14 year old. We spent lots of time at local beaches. Chairs, towels, boogie boards are in the closet. Recommend a car as towns and supermarkets are too far to walk.

  This was a dreamy place to stay! The views alone were worth it, but I also loved being in the heart of the Poipu area. We rented bikes the first day and saw just about everything from shipwreck beach to Allerton beach. We rented a car for the rest of the time to explore Koloa and Waimea Canyon.

  Cute and quaint condo in great location. Close to beaches air conditioning so must rely on fans. Two fans didn't work but moved others around to make do. Nicely equipped kitchen. Spacious lanai.

  We enjoyed our stay. The condo is very comfortable. We had super twice on the large veranda. Two bathrooms also proved very useful for our family of 4.
  The weather was extremely hot and muggy. The numerous fans provided were insufficient to compensate. We understand the heat and humidity were unusually high even based on Hawaiian standards.

  We had a wonderful stay at Sunset Kahili 101. The view was even better than I expected! The listing was accurate and we had everything we needed. The unit was extremely clean and the kitchen was very well-stocked with utensils, etc. Having the beach gear (chairs, umbrella, cooler, towels, etc.) was fantastic. The condo was very convenient to activities in Poipu and it was easy to get around. We love Poipu beach and had a great time exploring the South and West areas on the island more. Everything was communicated well from the rental agency and the instructions were clear and simple to follow. Not having air conditioning took a little getting used to, but as long as you close the blinds while you're gone for the day, it's really not bad. Just a heads up for others that the front bedroom: 1. has a japanese paper style door and wall shared with the living room- it was totally fine for us, but if you are concerned about noise/privacy with other guests you're staying with, it could be an issue. 2.- the front bedroom does not have a door on the bathroom. Again, might just be an issue for some people in terms of privacy. Overall it was a great condo in a great location and we would definitely recommend it to others!

  Pros: Super clean, VERY quiet, well maintained, nice and spacious condo, beach chairs, boogie boards and beach bags/cooler available. Came in very handy. 5 min walk to Poipu Beach park. Loved listening to the sound of the ocean. Sunsets from the balcony are amazing!
  Cons/FYI: Parking spot is tight/small but doable. Just don't rent a giant car, kitchen amenities are very basic. Wish they also had a beach umbrella we could have used. Your view is of the parking lot - but the sunsets are amazing!

  This is a fantastic budget-friendly option for anyone looking to spend time in Poipu. The unit is spacious, clean, and comfortable (it does not have AC, as pointed out in another reviews, but we've found that to be the case with most rentals in HI and prefer to just enjoy the ocean sounds and breeze anyway). Also, other reviews mentioned the unit being near the parking lot, but we were pleasantly surprised with the partial ocean views and had no noise issues throughout our stay. Staff was very pleasant and helpful and it's just a 10-15 minute walk or a very quick drive to Poipu's best beaches.

  This Poipu location is perfect for exploring the entire island easily without a lot of drive time. The unit and grounds were spotless and quiet. The owner thought of everything and the unit is spacious.
  The on-site pool was delightful and clean we used after sightseeing each day. The beach is maybe a 5 minute walk to watch glorious sunsets with a nice public park to enhance relaxation.

  Very nice 2 bedroom/2bathroom apartment. Good views from living room and master bedroom. Nice and clean and stocked with all your needs making it a home away from home. Would recommend and would book it again. Location was great. Easy access to everything. Note: if your getting ready for a wedding like us, plan in advance that there is no A/C. The guys were fine but the women struggled that day only. (because of dressing up/make up, etc...) The rest of the time no problem.

  Very cute condo, loved that it is an end unit. Peek-a-boo views of water and beautiful sunset views. It is a nice quiet complex and condo has all the amenities you will need. I came from Washington (55% humidity) my two daughters and granddaughter came from Montana (17% humidity) there is no AC and both my daughters took about 5 days to acclimate. Luckily, my sister had a place not too far from us with AC so the baby loved going there until she got use to it. There are fans but not quite the same. There is a great breeze that comes off the water from the back door that was awesome! My parents lived in Hawaii for years and never had AC, I don't remember ever having an issue so never thought about it when booking this condo. All in all I loved the place and would stay there again anytime just not with my dry air Montana girls 😁.

  Very comfortable, quiet unit. The kitchen is well stocked and functional for making your own meals. The direct ocean view is blocked but the view toward the spouting horn and Brennecke's Beach is nice. Short walks to Poipu Beach and Shipwreck Beach. Little Fish Coffee is a great destination for morning coffee!

  Stayed here while attending a conference at the Hyatt. Easy walk to get there every morning, with a stop to watch the turtles daily. Great location - close to awesome snorkeling beach, high enough for great views. Watched the sunset on the balcony any time we were home, grilled dinner most nights. Would stay here again any time.

  I had the best holiday staying in your home. It was so warm and welcoming and I really appreciate all the little extras you had available for us to us. Little things like salt and pepper and spices to use and having a chair to sit on when we went to the beach. Even the shampoo and conditioner in the shower. I really felt like I was staying at my best friends house for a visit. Thank you and see you next year!

  We loved our experience from the moment we walked in. Convenient 1st floor access for parking and luggage. As well a short walk to Poipu Beach, Shipwrecks, etc.

  We spent about a week at the property. The place was very clean and a great location. Acrepresentative from the management company showed up right after we arrived and brought a beautiful floral arrangement. The location is quiet and a short walk to a restaurant and the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

  We stayed in Sunset Kahili 101 for 8 nights in April 2015. The condo was really, really nice -- very fresh and clean after a recent remodel. Extremely comfortable king bed in the master bedroom. Separate bathrooms for both of the two bedrooms. We had our two young-adult kids with us, so that was great. Kitchen was very well-equipped, with an excellent peek at the ocean from the sink. The lanai also had partial views of the ocean. But the best thing was the proximity to Brennecke's Beach and the constant presence of sea turtles there! It's not a great beach for swimming (narrow, with rocks and sometimes pretty savage waves) but the turtle watching was out of this world and a two-minute walk from the apartment. A 3-minute walk was Poipu Beach Park, and the great beaches just past it. We also walked to the Hyatt for their hula show on the spectacular Seaview Terrace and for drinks at Tidepools (gorgeous, though a bit pricey). The pool at the condo complex is small, but very nice and great for rinsing off sea water in the evening. Convenient trash and recycling room. The complex was very quiet, which we appreciated. We totally loved it and would definitely stay there again.

  Myself, my wife, our 8 month old son, and the Grandparents had an absolutely wonderful time at Sunset Kahili. It was our understanding that the place had just been renovated and sure enough the place looked brand new. Everything worked perfectly and the proximity to the main beach was awesome. I can honestly say we are thinking of booking again next year. A perfect, out of the way spot, in walking distance to everything you might need. Two thumbs up.
