  We loved your condo in Poipu. We went to sleep with the sound of the waves crashing onto the lava rocks directly below us and woke up to the turtles swimming in the ocean as we drank our coffee on the porch. We spent a lot of time in our condo due to some emergency medical procedures for my daughter. But, staying in this condo helped everyone relax and enjoy meals at "home" and sleep in very comfortable beds. We hope to come back again someday!

  We had an amazing stay on Kauai, and the location of this condominium was absolutely perfect. The unit was spacious and clean, and the view was other-worldly, as we were greeted each morning by the sound of crashing waves and numerous sea turtles. My only (minor) complaint was that the second bedroom had no AC, but we solved that issue with the many fans that came with the unit. All in all, this is a great place in a perfect location!

  We loved Poipu Shores 306A. It was set up perfectly for our stay. The proximity to the ocean was incredible. The background sound of the crashing waves was so comforting. We saw better whales, dolphins, and turtle just sitting on the lanai than anywhere else on Kauai, even compared to the whale watching cruise. We saw the green flash at sunset multiple times.   We really loved this place as the waves are crashing 24/7! It was well stocked and everything was clean and ready when we arrived. We didn’t use the pool or other facilities so I can’t say anything about that. The only issue we had, which technically had no problem with us and our stay, was that the second bedroom has no air. We were there in August and it was extremely warm and humid outside. The second bedroom was unbearably warm so I was very thankful we had no one else staying with us. At times we do travel with our daughter and granddaughter and it would’ve been impossible for them to stay there. I had read this in other reviews so i hope the owners will seriously consider adding another unit to make this a superb place to stay! We would love to go back with them but would not consider without air being added. It’s a lovely location and the walk to the beach is short and wonderful!! Loved it for just my husband and I!

  It was really rainy and messy when we got to Poipu (still gorgeous), so it was so nice that our room was immaculately clean. Surprisingly so. The room had lots of useful beach gear. The sound of the ocean at night was so relaxing, and the view was amazing. The waves crashing in the small inlet outside our patio were so gorgeous, it actually made Queens Bath slightly anticlimactic later in the trip. The location is great...short walk to the beach.

  We had a great time taking in all the views! The location was great and the neighbors were quiet & polite. LOTS of turtles to be seen from the lanai. Short walk to a small beach and a quick drive to a few others. It’s a short drive to some yummy restaurants. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans, blender, etc. There are recycling bins down by the pool. The unit is very nice. The guest room, tho not on the ocean side, is comfy. You awake to singing birds and can still hear the waves crashing. It is nice to switch out rooms partly through your stay so you can experience the ocean. The unit was clean but mostly surface clean, you may want to wipe down the doors and sweep under the beds and couch. The washer and dryer have a mind of their own (we had a few good laughs) but it was very nice to have them to wash towels etc. We took advantage of the beach chairs, umbrella and small coolers for beach days. Parking can seem a little tricky because it’s tri level, with what seems limited parking, but we had a spot every night. Overall it was a GREAT time! Awesome sunsets and beautiful views of the stars. We felt very at home and cozy! Thank you for opening your home up to us!

  This is a great unit. It has wonderful views with grand sunsets and whale watching in January everyday. We spent three weeks in this unit and it is very comfortable for two couples. The kitchen has everything that you could need. Looking into a cove where turtles come regularly and hearing the crashing sound of the waves makes this a truly a memorable experience.

  The view was absolutely breathtaking, exactly like the pictures showed. We went to sleep and woke up every night to the sound of the waves crashing. We could even see whales and dolphins straight from the patio! It was beautiful. We also appreciated the binoculars that were in the room. The only minor issue we had was with a few things that didn't work around the condo, mainly the TV's. They were both very fuzzy due to the condition of the HDMI cords (around the ocean, things get rusty very quickly). The night we arrived I called Vicki (property manager) and asked her to call me about the TV's. She never did call me back so I called her again the following day and she said she didn't get the message (called the same # both times). She did send a repair man right over who said the cords did need to be changed. He said he'd come back the next day with new cords and fix a couple other items (two missing knobs - one on the dryer, one on a drawer). We never did see him again. Aside from those few minor details, the condo is amazing and we would 100% stay there again. We'd also recommend to anyone who asked, without hesitation. We had a great week in this very spacious condo. They even provided books, snorkel gear, and beach equipment to borrow. It was truly amazing and unforgettable. We left all of our sunscreens and other items we bought in the condo for the next person to use since the prices of these items are steep on the island. I hope the next person to stay in 306A has as great of a time as we did. We could see turtles every day from the pool. That was so fun and such a treat. We also loved that the condo was within walking distance to many places. If you do have a rental car, make it a small one because the parking spaces are very compact and the parking lots are a bit hard to navigate. Guests coming and going have a hard time seeing around the large rock walls, but we managed to get by without a ding :)

  Excellent vacation rental experience. The location was fantastic. We have stayed in several units at Poipu Shores, and 306A is among the best. we appreciated the lovely bottle of chilled champagne! A couple of minor things: We noticed a distinct mildew odor near the kitchen sink, which did not dissipate during our stay. The owners might want to consider purchasing two small items for the kitchen: a cooking spatula (like a pancake turner) and a plastic pitcher to store beverages in the refrigerator. Other than that, the kitchen was well supplied.

  This condo was just like the pictures show it. The ocean is right out the window!! We went to sleep every night to the sound of crashing waves, so beautiful! There is really nothing like having a drink on your lanai watching the turtles swim below you and then seeing the fantastic sunset every evening! This is a great location and very quiet. We never heard our neighbors during our stay. The owners have tried to make your stay spectacular as they have boogie boards, coolers to take lunch to the beach, a safe for your valuables, laundry soap, even odds and ends in the kitchen so that your not buying all of the little things like sugar, salt ,pepper etc. We had a bottle of champagne and 2 champagne flutes chilling in the refrigerator to start our honeymoon off. We can't thank you enough!!!Great island, great people, out of this world sights. We did not want to come home. Can't wait to go back and bring our 2 children!!

  We really enjoyed the 3 night stay in 306A. The pictures were accurate---but the unit was even more stunning in person. I loved hearing the sound of the waves every night. I would definitely stay here again.

  The condo could not have been more perfect. The views were awesome and the decor incredible. It was so relaxing to sit on the deck with the waves crashing on the rocks below. At night, we were lulled to sleep with those same waves. The beach and pool were just steps away. We think this is the perfect place to stay.

  My husband and I were thrilled with our choice of rental. The unit is located in a perfect spot. My loved watching and hearing the rolling surf. We ate many meals right on the balcony.   We enjoyed the condo at Poipu Shores for many reasons. The rooms were decorated nicely and very comfortable. There were beach chairs, umbrella and boogie boards available for our use! We really enjoyed the view from the balcony. It was beautiful! The location was fabulous as we could walk to the beach easily and enjoy all the whale watching and waves as we walked. I would highly recommend this location!

  We vacationed at Poipu Shores unit 306A and I cannot say enough about this unit. The view was spectacular. You are lulled to sleep at night in the master suite by ocean waves crashing against the rocks just below. The unit was immaculate. Everything you could possibly need is available in the unit. We sit out on the Lanai most mornings drinking our coffee and eating breakfast. We could view turtles, whales and dolphins from our room. We also saw a Hawaiian monk seal which was a treat. I am hopeful we can come back and would stay in the same unit. I cannot imagine a better view anywhere on Poipu Shores than we had. Thanks so much for the opportunity to share our incredible vacation in this unit.

  A better place to stay in Poipu is hard to imagine than Apartment 306A except for an apartment nearby. The entrance to the property is deceiving because it's not impressive; likewise for the entrances to each of the three buildings. The views from the Lanai,however, must be among the best on the island because they are right above the crashing surf where green turtles lounged each day and whales and dolphins cruised past. It was an easy five minute walk to the beaches near Brenecke's and only about ten minutes to Shipwreck beach. The furnishings of the condo were all in excellent shape and included anything we might need. It was a pleasure to stay there and a sad moment when we left.

  My family of 4 (two boys ages 9 & 11) thoroughly enjoyed our stay in 306A. It had everything we could possibly need and the view was absolutely incredible. Sitting on the deck, drinking my coffee, watching the waves crash against the rocks right below me every morning is something I will always remember. Everything was clean and in working order in the condo. The washer and dryer in the unit made it nice for us to have clean, dry beach towels each day. We used the BBQ located right below the condo to grill some steaks one night. (stop @ Costco and do some shopping on the way from the airport) There were beach chairs, coolers, boogie boards, and snorkel gear provided, which was great because it's a short 5-10 minute walk to some great beaches! We loved stopping at Brennecke's beach for some boogie boarding, moving on to Poipu Beach for some snorkeling and playing in the waves, then getting a shave ice at the little deli across the street. One thing that needs to be mentioned is that in this unit, you are VERY close to the ocean. If sleeping in the bedroom closest to the ocean, it can be a bit loud. It worked out fine for us, because my husband loved it, and so did the kids. I slept in the other bedroom where it was easier for me to sleep. We highly recommend Poipu Shores 306A!

  Overall the condo was very nice. There were a couple of small issues that we mentioned to the rental company to pass on to the owners. All of these can be easily fixed (1) Guest bedroom needed a larger fan as there were no trade winds while we were there. (2) Providing laundry soap to guests would be appreciated for those of us staying a few days. (3) Light in outside hallway was bright which made sleeping difficult in the guest bedroom. Changing the bulb to a lower intensity would probably address this issue.
  Condo was clean and had enough room for three of us, kitchen well stocked for preparing meals, views were excellent, right on the ocean.

  306A was perfect for my husbands 50th birthday surprise! Counter tops, cupboards, mattress, sheets, towels, dishes, silverware, pillows... all high quality. The view from the deck is unbeatable. Double rainbow our first morning. Fantastic sunsets. Whales, dolphins and turtles! When you walk out the door it's like a small jungle with fantastic bird calls. Management co. very quick and helpful. Be sure to go to the pool (even if you don't get in) to watch the turtles (take your room key) and go to the Poipu farmers market and get in line early for the "Pie Lady". Lots of fresh fruit-mangos, papaya, pineapple. And get some lasagna to go. We can not wait to return to paradise!!!

  We enjoyed our stay at Poipu Shores 306A and would recommend it to others. The condo building is an older one, but the interior is very nice and updated, and it's in a great neighborhood location within an easy 5 minute walking distance to the beaches. The one negative was that the ocean noise was quite loud in the master bedroom......waves crashing into the rocks.....which made it challenging to sleep at night. During the day however, those same rocks and surrounding area are beautiful to look at just outside the condo!

  My husband and I celebrated our 5th anniversary with our first trip to Hawaii and we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay on the south shore. The view is what initially drew me to the rental and it did not disappoint! We spent more time on the lanai than inside the condo. We ate our meals and just relaxed watching the sea turtles, dolphins, paddle boarders, and amazing sunsets. There wasn't a single day when we didn't see at least one turtle. Inside the condo was just as amazing. the kitchen and bathrooms were all updated, clean and well stocked. We had plenty of pots and pans and cooking utensils. There were bath and beach towels and the washer and dryer were very convenient. An added bonus were the snorkel gear, boogie boards, beach chairs, and coolers that were already in the unit so we didn't have to rent anything. If we are ever back in Kauai I would not hesitate to rent this place again!

  Our unit had an amazing view, we loved listening to the waves crashing on the rocks! A lock box entry made it convenient to arrive late. Just a short walk down the path we could boogie board,swim,or eat. The unit was very clean and well stocked. Loved it!
