  Celebrating our 70th birthdays and 50+ years of marriage, we decided it was time to go to Hawaii. This place was recommended by friends who visited in 2022. We loved everything about this condo. First is the stunning view of the ocean. The kitchen was well equipped. Loved having the bedroom on the second floor with the balcony. We did some exploring of the island, but were mostly content to enjoy the beautiful weather and view, The Athletic Club is a nice bonus with a beautiful pool.

  This was our 2nd time to stay at this property, and can't wait to come back. The views are amazing from this condo. It was so nice to hear the ocean all night it made Sleeping so nice and easy. This condo is walking distance to the beach. The property itself is very well maintained. The property staff was friendly and helpful. We counted turtles from the top lanai. We highly recommend this condo, but only for 2 people.

  We absolutely loved our stay here! Spectacular view of the ocean with waves hitting the rock cliffs. Lots of sea turtles in the water. Loved having 2 lanais--downstairs and upstairs. Enjoyed seeing sunrises and sunsets. Pool was warm and wonderful to swim in. Athletic Club Membership was included; had fun at an aquatics fitness class there. Condo was very clean! Highly recommend other visitors indulge in a Puka Dog (Hawaiian Hotdog) down by Poipu Beach Park. Go to the town of Hanapepe and stop at the Midnight Bear Bakery. Take a day tour and let someone else drive you around on the Secret Kauai Canyons and Coastlines Tour through . WE CAN'T WAIT TO COME BACK!!!

  Poipu Shores is a small, well located complex directly on the Ocean shores. Our unit was clean, well equipped and in good repair. The view is awesome.   We love this unit. The large ground-floor lanai provides easy access to the ocean front, and the upstairs bedroom lanai has direct views of all the turtles that frequent the shoreline here. Being an end unit it has a large side window that gives an additional view and lots of light. The unit is well equipped with everything you need for the beach and the kitchen, and has a library including island guides. We're booked for next year.

  We found this ideal spot for attending our son’s Wedding Week stay in Kauai... the accommodations could not have been more perfect! The unit was spacious, decorated beautifully, and generously equipped with anything/everything we could have wanted. Waking to crashing waves, turtles, manta rays, birds, and even a couple rainbows set the tone for each day. The pool provided great relaxation after morning coffee and breakfast on one of our patios. Great location for Poipu wedding activities, and a wonderful place to return to at the end of each fun-filled day. We would return tomorrow if we could, but maybe in a year! We appreciated & enjoyed our “membership” at the Poipu Athletic Beach Club, joining our kids & grandkids for swimming, lunch, and fun. The management was very responsive to our needs, and left us a special little treat to apologize for an inconvenient early Saturday morning (new) washer/dryer delivery. This place does not disappoint!

  This is a great location and a cozy spot for enjoying all the southside has to offer. I was so excited to be able to see the whales playing right off the coastline. The owners even provide binoculars to make whale watching easier. I spent some time in the pool, which is really nice--and it's a great temperature. Overall, the setting of this property is great, right on the ocean with the waves crashing. Sunsets are spectacular!

  When we originally set out to find a place to stay for my best friend's wedding, we had a wishlist of items that we wanted in comparison to the cost. Views of the ocean, a pool, privacy, a kitchen to cook, easy access to the island, a quick walk to a beach, and feeling like we lived in Kauai.
  
  Sea Cove Hideaway met all of our wishlists wants and more.
  
  We woke up to crashing waves, watched the moon disappear and the sunrise, sea turtles galore, dolphins, whales, and flying fish. We even had massages out on our patio at 8 am.
  
  The time we did spend inside (which was pretty much only to sleep) was filled with comfort and beautifully decorated to feel just like a tropical paradise. Very clean, all the amenities we needed (laundry came in very handy), lots of pillows, extra blankets for my side of the bed and towels.
  
  When we return, this is where we will be staying!

  My husband and I were blown away by this beautiful vacation rental. We watched the waves and sea turtles for hours from the Lanai. The sunsets were breathtaking. The furnishings were tasteful and comfortable and the kitchen well stocked with everything we needed to cook. We were so comfortable that we found it difficult to leave for even a day to explore the beauty of the island. I am already plotting our next stay.

  We had a wonderful time and part of that was staying in this comfortable condo! It’s very well-stocked kitchen made it easy to prepare breakfast each day and a few dinners. The view and nearness to the water are incredible. We enjoyed the sunset from our own patio every evening. We would definitely rent this property again!

  This is a great unit in a spectacular location, with crashing surf visible from both levels. The furnishings and decorations are lovely and there are many thoughtful touches throughout. The kitchen is particularly well equipped with lots of pans, dishes, small appliances and condiments--great if you like to cook, as we do. The air conditioners were quick to cool, which was helpful during the time we were there. Lots of sea turtles easily visible right from the lanai. A great place!

  Fantastic being so close to the ocean and perfect for a couple. Well stocked kitchen, very comfortable bed/furniture and BBQ right out the front door. A/C was just installed which helped with the surf noise at night but be forewarned light sleepers you can still hear the surf 50ft away. Short 15 min walk to Poipu Beach and the Heritage Trail connection just up the street Upstairs and ground lanai for eating and watching are perfect. Can’t go wrong staying here

  Overall a positive experience. Property is nicely decorated and spacious. The waves are very loud as they are crashing on rocks very close to the property. The waves seemed louder than surf crashing on a beach. My husband enjoyed the sound but it woke me up at night. It also created a salt sheen over windows and other surfaces. I've given the property 4 stars instead of 5 due to the loudness of the surf and the salt sheen.

  My husband and I recently stayed at the "Sea Cove Hideaway" during part of our visit to Kauai. First of all, I have to say the location of this condo is amazing! It sits perched in rocks against which the ocean crashes all day and night long. We had amazing views of the ocean from our bed and were lulled to sleep by its eternal song. We did not "inspect" this condo thoroughly, but the location we had seemed the best. It is a corner unit in building "C" so we only had neighbors on one side, and the next building was away enough to give us privacy. We enjoyed a nice view of the pool from our veranda, but were far away not to be disturbed by occasional swimmers.
  
  We also really loved the apartment's design, finishings and decoration! It is a two-story building, done in a south seas kind of style, very tasteful and beautiful! For me that was very important and made it feel more like a home. Also, everything was perfectly clean and well maintained. The owners clearly love this place very much!
  
  I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone that wants to be in the South Shore, with gorgeous ocean vistas, a quiet place and yet close to everything!

The day we arrived we had a warm welcome from the property manager who came with fresh flowers.   The location and view from this condo is amazing but the lack of A/C will keep us from coming back. The unit is clean but could use some updating to the sliding glass doors and windows. I also think it would be better to have a little less furniture, it seemed a little cluttered. We were aware of the lack of A/C before we rented but were swayed by reviews that stated it wasn't necessary. I don't know if it was hotter during our stay but the upstairs was unbearable for sleeping. The fans just didn't do the job and the trade winds just never seemed to cool the condo. But we really enjoyed the pool, the view, and the turtles swimming in the cove below our balcony! I would recommend this place to others as long as they don't require A/C.

  This condo is amazing! The view is priceless. It's a corner unit, so it has a fabulous view from both the upstairs and downstairs lanais. This condo provided everything you could ever want. Full kitchen with tons of dishes and utensils. There were beach towels, beach chairs, coolers and snorkel gear to name a few things. There was bug spray, sunscreen, shampoo and conditioner, and anything else you would have in your own home. The decor was beautiful with lots of Hawaii appropriate pictures and flowers. We loved going to bed each night listening to the crashing waves outside our door. When we first arrived, we were even greeted with beautiful flowers from the property management team. The room doesn't have air-conditioning, so it can get pretty hot, but there are a lot of fans provided to help that. The condo was very clean and appeared to be very well maintained. The swimming pool on the property was great too. Being able to swim and watch the waves come in was an added bonus. Also from the pool, you could watch the sea turtles swimming around. We enjoyed staying in the Poipu area. It was a lot less crowded than the North Shore. Our favorite swimming beach was the Salt Pond Beach. We would highly recommend staying in Poipu, and especially staying in this condo!

  Beautiful location along poipu shores. The sound of the waves crashing against the cliffs and view were once in a lifetime. Property manager was responsive and very nice and helpful and even brought extra fans and flowers for our arrival. Frustrating to hear other reviewers discuss the lack of ac since the place is not advertised with ac. The breezes and fans made it comfortable.This is not the Marriott. The only thing I didn't like about this property was the cluttered nature of the decor and the owners labels around the unit. Way to much furniture for the size of the floor plan and way to many labels around the unit which is an owner choice not a property manager choice. Having instructions labeled everywhere to follow was a bit too much. People are on vacation and don't want annoying instructions and labels on railings by showers and on tables. Great stay and I will be back as all the issues were very small and the property was overall excellent.

  We were looking for a peaceful retreat and we had that with Sea Cove Hideaway. The Townhouse was very clean and we especially loved the proximity to restaurants and shopping in Poipu and Koloa. The ocean views are breathtaking and it was so nice to have 2 lanai's; one upstairs off the master bedroom and the other at ground level. Watching the sea turtles play and feed every day was so enjoyable whether it was steps from the town home or from the pool area. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and utensils so preparing a meal was very easy. Loved having the grill just outside our door. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and plan to return and stay here again.

  We had 3 weeks of relaxation in Sea Cove Hideaway. This was the first holiday that we stayed in 1 spot the whole time and did not eat out very much. The condo had everything you need to make great meals so that we could enjoy the view and sounds of the ocean from the dining table or the sofa. The whales were a daily pastime, not the leave out the turtles in the bay just steps from the lanai. The star gazing at night was wonderful (the milky way so clear). The wi-fi connection was the only problem had to keep calling to be reconncted every few days (a Building problem whatever that means)it was always fixed within a few hours. We would stay here again.

  The unit was beautiful and extremely well equipped and appointed. The view was fantastic and we could watch the sea turtles from our bedroom lani. Our only discomfort was that the unit is not air conditioned. Three of our days stay temperatures were in the high 80 and low 90's and the trade winds weren't blowing. This made sleeping difficult especially with the upstairs bedroom. Other than that we had a wonderful stay and would recommend the unit to family and friends.

  We had only been at the unit for a minute & Vicki arrived with a vase of purple orchids! That was the start of a perfect vacation. The condo was just as beautiful as the website shows. We saw whales & turtles every day. Having a 180 degree view of the ocean was unbelievable. We saw whales and turtles every day.   This place is truly magical! Listening to the ocean as you fall asleep and wake up in the morning was indescribable. Everytime you look off the Lanai into the ocean, there's a turtle there. This is clearly the best unit at Poipu Shores with the most privacy. I would not hesitate to stay here again and give this place our highest recommendation. There are so many disappointing condos here on this island that are NOT what they seem or look like on the internet. DON"T be disappointed! Stay at the Seacove Hideaway!

  Wonderful 2-story with a choice of 2 lanais, both with fantastic waterfront/sunset views. Really enjoyed the way this condo is laid out - it feels very large, and the owners have given it a lot of attention to beautiful detail. Also loved that it's within walking distance of Poipu Beach and a some great restaurants. The only downside is that the pool water was very dirty, so sadly, we only used it once. We noticed it had been emptied the day of our departure, so it was obviously getting some much needed attention.

Onto Seacove Hideaway...amazing, breathtaking, scenic...any adjective you could want for a beach property! End unit with amazing views and everything you need to make it yours for the duration of your stay. The Poipu area was amazing and the beaches were well within a quick walk.   Wonderful location. Loved the waves crashing in all night long. Enjoyed the turtles and fish swimming right off the deck. Furnishings are first rate. Nice beach equipment and plenty of towels. Poor wifi reception. The individual unit did not have wifi, it was set up for the whole complex and I only had reception good outside.

  We celebrated our 20th anniversary with 9 days in Kauai and our stay at Poipu Shores in 105C was lovely. The unit itself is clean, well appointed and stocked with everything you'll need from beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers to a kitchen with anything you need. The unit is comfortable and was quiet while we were there. We enjoyed watching the turtles in the surf from the lanai and even caught a pod of dolphins hanging out in the cove one day. My husband was thrilled to find binoculars in one of the drawers to see everything better! The location is excellent - walking distance to Brenneke and Poipu beaches. We would absolutely stay again and hope to have the opportunity.

  As a seasoned, world traveler, I was amazed with the condition and attention to details in this great rental property. This is not your typical “cheap but clean” rental condo...this is an owners’ home, and one whose owner clearly takes pride in and is willing to share its amenities with others. Little details like providing access to beach equipment (boogie boards/snorkel/chairs/towels/coolers etc) allow you to instantly settle in, feel like home, and start enjoying your vacation as soon as you walk in the door. It is FULLY stocked (I even found a garlic press!) with everything we needed...no skimping on the little things here. It was a GREAT location, with unbeatable views. We watched dolphins and turtles swim by every day...right from the lanai! The only downside is that I suspect some of the neighboring units are not as well done. The clientele of neighboring units were not always respectful (e.g. smoking on their lanai, where it blew into ours, using our lanai frontage as a pathway, etc). Even being unlucky with the next door rental neighbors couldn’t tarnish our experience. This was truly a well done unit, in a GREAT location, with unbeatable views. I would highly recommend it to any discerning vacationer.

  Incredible location, perfect place for sunsets. The outdoor community grill is 20 feet from the front door so very convenient, and not once did I run into anyone else using it. 5 minute walk to Brennecke's. No A/C which made the heat difficult to deal with but we heard A/C isn't very common in Kauai? There are lots of fans to help. Everyone who lived there and the management company treated us very well. Amazing and unforgettable honeymoon.

  We had the most relaxing, wonderful time in Poipu Shores 105C. The vistas and atmosphere were spectacular, especially since it was an amazingly active whale season-jumping and spouting everywhere! The place itself is wonderful and well kept--this corner unit offers magnificent views and a surprising sense of privacy, and the Poipu 365 team were so friendly and helpful. And it's so great to be able to walk to the beaches at Poipu (easy, terrific snorkeling), and have everything you need so close by.
