Entering Amazing Views Hale is a treat for the senses! Exhilarating 270 degree views of crescent shaped white sand beaches, two famous surf spots, and sunrise to sunset views over the Pacific coastline surround this eclectic two story beach house. Amazing Views Hale is circa 1960's architecture and is situated on the high point of the Crater Rim Road, thus the spectacular view, plus an easy 5 minute walk to Poipu's best beaches.

The kitchen, living and dining areas open to the 2nd floor lanai and feature an incredible panorama of ocean vistas, swaying palms, and a variety of sealife, including Kauai's humpback whales during the winter season.

The master suite has a king bed and opens to the ground floor lanai, lap pool, hot tub, BBQ, and landscaped, private, outdoor shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third bedroom with den has a full bed and a queen bed. These two beds share a loft ceiling, are connected to a bath and can be closed off to become a private suite, which also opens to the lap pool and hot tub lanai.

Cooling tropical trade breezes permeate the home through the many windows. When the trade winds are still, whole-house air conditioning will keep you cool and comfortable. Amazing Views Hale is well-stocked with many amenities, including beach towels, snorkel gear, beach chairs, boogie boards, coolers, and binoculars. This home is meticulously maintained and is furnished in a vintage Hawaiiana theme.

Everything about this house was perfect! The pictures don't do it justice. Very clean, spacious, very well stocked with everything you could need (espresso machine, french press, lots of pots and pans, plenty of towels and beach gear). The most beautiful view in all of poipu! Could see rainbows every morning from the Lanai and the most amazing sunsets. The pool is a long salt water lap pool. Location is perfect, easy walk to brennekes or baby beach. Really amazing place, will only be staying here when we return!

Everything was exactly as described. We are a family with 5 children under age 13. We appreciated all the beach gear that was available to use (boogie boards, chairs, toys, a lot of snorkel gear, stroller), umbrellas, beach mats, towels etc. The kids loved coming home to the outdoor pool and hot tub The adults enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. The views were exceptional - could see whales breaching on a daily basis. We loved the open, airy feel to the place. No issues with temperature control. Staff were responsive to any questions. Good location - felt quite central on the island so could swing west or east/north without difficulty. Would definitely stay here again.

The views in this home were absolutely spectacular! Walking distance to the beach and panoramic views of the ocean and sunsets. There was ample place for everyone to sleep and hang out and it was a huge plus to have air conditioning. The home could use some maintenance but the views made up for it. Furniture and home are dated but the house was well appointed with shampoo, coffee filters, paper towels, etc. The membership to the athletic club was a huge added bonus. We used it everyday and it was nice to have an extra pool to visit. The pool at the house is small but perfect for late afternoon dip. unfortunately we had some issues with the hot tub, but they were able to fix it by the last day we were there.

Amazing Views Hale was such a lovely house to stay at during our vacation. It had all the extras like beach gear, towels, binoculars, condiments, even laundry soap!! It was so nice having coffee on the upper deck and watch the sunrise and catch pods of dolphins playing in the ocean!! We used the pool and hot tub everyday we were there. The panoramic windows were stunning in the upper living room and the beds were very comfortable! The athletic club was a bonus as well. My kids loved the slide in the pool and the pool side service was amazing!! We will definitely be back!!!

This house was fabulous for us! There were plenty of beds, and lots of cozy chairs for lounging. The view is unbeatable! We didn't want to leave this house. Just minutes from one of our favorite beaches that has great boogie boarding. The towels were all thick and soft, like new. Plenty of beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, etc at this house!! The pots & pans/ kitchen tools could stand to be updated, some flooring pieces were coming up, and the spa cover needed to be replaced. Besides these few updates, we really loved the house!

We felt at home right away! There was everything we needed - from snorkel gear, beach toys, towels, umbrellas, boards to condiments and basic pantry supplies to every kind of kitchen utensil you could need - and they were good quality. We had plenty of room to spread out and still be able to stay connected as a family. We loved sitting on the lanai to debrief the day and watch the sunset. It was also easy to take a jog in the morning and get to the beach. The management team responded quickly when we told them the hot tub needed more water and explained that a new cover was backordered. We would definitely come back to this house!

The rental was perfect. Sunny and spacious, room for our group of six to gather together. Room for all of us to also enjoy some space and privacy. Kitchen well appointed with cabinets labeled and stocked with anything you might need to make meals. Windows all around allowed great cross breezes, AC for the less breezy days. Pool was perfect for cooling down, hot tub the perfect spot for late night stargazing.

We had our three grand kids, and six adults in the house. It is really only a three bedrooms but it worked fine for us because we all get along and go to bed early. One couple slept upstairs (twin beds make into a comfortable king) and the kids were all downstairs. We are early to bed and early risers so it worked. The master bedroom and second bedroom with sunken second bed at lower level were spacious. The house has a very light assembly between floors, so being downstairs you can hear anyone moving around upstairs. The kitchen is really a one person kitchen. With the fridge door open you can't squeeze by and with dishwasher open you can hardly get to the sink. We did very light cooking so we had no problems. Plenty of utensils and pots and pans. The view out the windows makes it all comfortable. An ice maker in the fridge would have been nice. We never turned on the AC with ocean breezes. It was January, with perfect Hawaii weather.
The linear pool is not big enough for laps but was quite nice for a cool refreshing plunge after a hot tub. Couldn't get the kids out of it when we weren't out and about.
I would be nice to have the barbecue on the second floor where the kitchen and dinning are.
The neighborhood was pretty quiet. The Tsunami siren is 5 feet from the house so pay attention to the first Monday of the month at 11:45.
Showers were hot and good pressure.
I did send a list of things that needed repair (being a building contractor and rental owner). Property management never responded. I assume they read it and will take of the things I noticed.
The price went from $450 to $660. Real estate in Kauai has gone crazy(every where desirable). The place just sold for $1,800,000. That accounts for price increase.

To echo what someone else said, the home looked great in photos but even BETTER when we arrived. It really exceeded our expectations and was perfect for an authentic Hawaiian stay. Our family had a lot of fun with the pool and hot tub. The best part was the view from the second floor, it truly was amazing! We appreciated how the home was equipped with everything you need -- plenty of beach towels & cookware. Little touches like the binoculars to spot whales. There are some things that could be refined or updated.. the door handle on the master bathroom kept falling off, the washer/dryer was old and made a screeching sound through the house, pots were pretty scratched up and didn't seem safe to use (cancer causing Teflon), and I knew the dishwasher would be broken based on previous reviews. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely loved our stay and couldn't have picked a better place. Just calling these things out as I would be willing to pay more for the stay if they were updated and of better quality.

Be aware the tsunami warning signal box, that sits just above the roof of the house, is tested the first working day of each month and is extremely loud. Luckily, our check-in was the day after and the few days we were there were perfect!

This house was unique (in the best possible way) fun, comfortable and perfect for our two families. Million dollar views, clean and lots of room for all of us. It was well stocked and we had everything we needed for our 5 nights. We particularly enjoyed the sunsets, New Year's fireworks with first class seating, the plunge pool and easy access that all Poipu has to offer. We rarely had to use the car. Management was on top of everything and very, very helpful. They even brought us flowers! We would be happy to rent this again in the future.

This is a beautiful home with extraordinary views. The view can not be described by words or pictures. We loved staying at this home and would definitely stay again. The only downfalls to the property are the appliances. The refrigerator did not keep things very cold and the handle to the dishwasher was broken and hard to open. The upsides were the lap pool and living areas. Definitely a good place to stay on the island!

We loved our stay at Amazing Views Hale. We found the property to be quite lovely. The rooms were all beautiful and well decorated and the open space family room was quite relaxing and wonderful. Took a few naps in the living room myself. The views were incredible and we used both the pool and the hot tub several times. We also loved having the outdoor shower as an option, but there were plenty of bathrooms and it was really quite accommodating. Parking was just a bit tight trying to squeeze to cars in on the gravel, but we made it work and would highly love to stay here again in the future.

This house as advertised has amazing views. Multiple windows show off the ocean and provides an open uncrowned space for relaxing an entertaining large groups. The decor is island style and well stocked with all the comforts of home. One suggestion is to update Light bulbs to LED and renew pillows and cushion covers. We would love to return in the future.

The home is beautiful...the view is AMAZING! We had four adults and two kids (ages 2 and 5), and there was plenty of space for all of us. The house was a short walk to Poipu Beach, which was great for snorkeling and for the kids. We didn't even need the AC units that were provided in each room--the breeze and fans were more than sufficient. The only downside were the ants, but I prefer ants over pesticides in the kitchen. As long as we didn't leave food on the counters, the ants weren't a problem. Also, I recommend the Safeway in Lihue for groceries--the markets in Poipu/Koloa were limited and expensive. I'd stay here again!

We couldn't have picked a better place for our vacation. The living area being on the upper level was fantastic; no matter where you were you had a spectacular view of the ocean, mountains, and beautiful sunsets. Although it has 3 bedrooms, the layout allowed for 2 adult couples and 3 teenagers to each have their own living space. It is outfitted with almost every appliance and utensil you could need (we added a new copper surface griddle to that). It is within walking distance of so many things and a few minutes drive to so many others. The access to the Poipu Beach Club just topped everything off, a fantastic place to work out in the outdoors no matter what the weather and so many other activities. Definitely would recommend to anyone, especially families.

We enjoyed our stay on Kauai at Amazing Views Hale. The home was very clean and well-stocked and the rental management staff was available and very helpful. The view from the second floor balcony is just like the picture shows and the ocean breeze is perfect. A couple of notes - it is about a mile walk to the beach which is a bit far if you are carrying chairs and gear; also, the home is not air conditioned which was nice when the weather was clear but made everything a bit damp for the couple days it rained during our stay.

This vacation home had every amenity that made our stay easily comfortable. The spacious bedrooms, beds and pillows ensured solid rest after a busy, or relaxing day on the island. The views from the upstairs balcony made it easy to spot whales from a distance, check on the beach and watch the sunset while enjoying a cold beverage or snack.

The beach house had a great open feel with Windows and shutters to allow the trade winds to circle through the house and wakeup to the birds chirping outside.

The well equipped features like beach gear, snorkels, chairs, umbrellas and towels made a beach day a snap. The kitchen also had many appliances, tools and utensils to easily make your own meals.

The lap pool, hot tub and outdoor shower were spots to spend some down time, start, spend or end your day.

Amazing location with a short walk to Poipu beach park, this home has it all. Our group loved every minute of the well furnished and equipped beach themed house surrounded by tropical plants, flowers and shrubs.

I would definitely recommend this property. Thank you for the truly enjoyable experience on our trip to Kauai.

The view is amazing, as advertised. From the pictures, we thought the ocean might be a glimpse, but it's on full display. You can see almost 270 degrees around from the porch, so you can often see sun on the water and clouds on the mountains. The house was comfortable, clean, and well-stocked with everything we needed and some things we hadn't thought of. The location was perfect for us.
It's a short drive to the beach, shops and restaurants but in a quiet neighborhood. The ventilation in the house was well-designed to keep the house cool and we never had a problem with mosquitoes when we left doors or windows open. Staff was friendly and helpful and responded to questions both before we arrived and while we were there. If we return to Kauai, we would stay in this house again!

This was a wonderful house for six adults, which the house sleeps 10, with plenty of room to spread out and feel like home. We don't like the constraints of a hotel and our stay was very relaxing with our own lap pool and shower. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed for a family dinner with a fabulous view. The pictures are real, what you see is what you get!
Stop off at Costco or Safeway to pick up the basics and enjoy island living while on vacation. Kauai is an island for family, so plan your next trip with family in mind. We'll be back!

We absolutely loved this property! There were 9 in our group of family and friends ( adults and grown kids) and this home was able to accommodate all of us comfortably. It was well maintained and a great, convenient location in Poipu. The house looks exactly like the photos, very Hawaiian and cute! You could walk to awesome beaches and to the beautiful Hilton Hotel. We saw monk seals and huge sea turtles on Poipu beach every morning! I would recommend a rental car for sightseeing outside of Poipu. Old Koloa Town is less than 10 min away and you can reach the North Shore in an hour. Our entire

This house is wonderfully located and really does have amazing views. Six of us shared the house for a week. You can see the ocean from the top story deck (and while sitting at the table, from the kitchen sink, or sitting in the living room) Amazing also to see the full moon go down over breakfast mid-week. Within walking distance of the beach. Watched whales from the deck. The people who cleaned and at the office were great. We loved our time. Thank you do much.

This is an amazing home that fits a lot of people, all of the bedrooms are downstairs, but there is an optional sliding partition upstairs that creates a big bedroom. View is incredible, it was fully stocked with towels, sunscreen, breach gear and necessities.

This was my family's third stay at this comfortable, clean, well equipped home with Amazing Views! The kitchen had all the equipment we needed and we cooked every meal at the house. Even the non stick pans were in good shape. And the knives where sharp. And the view, Amazing! We got nine around the dinning table including one high chair. Read or work on the lanai or the window seat and you have Amazing Views of the ocean and the hills and the Rainbows! The 3 bathrooms were clean. I would appreciate some hand held shower heads. The beds were comfortable, not too soft or too hard. The bedding clean and cotton. There is no air conditioning, but you don't need it because the design for air flow is amazing. The breeze is always moving through the house. Humidity would build overnight in the upstairs because we closed it off because of the rainy season. Open the windows and it disappears, Amazing. The bedroom on the south side is CLOSE to the road. I heard traffic while awake, but was never awakened by traffic. But I slept sooo good breathing all that FRESH air. This is a charming, comfortable, traditional Hawaiian home. I love it. There is a pool, quirky but clean, a hot tub, I'll take the ocean, and a grill, downstairs to the upstairs kitchen. Parking for no more than 2 cars. There are tons of beach towels, a couple of chairs, beach toys for the kids and some snorkel equipment. My husband actually used one of the sets. The washing machine is in the closet by the front door on the level with the bedrooms. So convenient. This house is amazing in many ways besides the views! It's a 10 minute walk to the beach, downhill, 15 going up. Poipu is an amazing beach for kids and good for snorkelers and walkers. If you are here to relax on the beach, this is a great location. If you want to travel to the west, its a good location. If you want to go all the way to the north by going east, you can make it a day trip. Aloha!

The house was beautiful! There was plenty of space for my family (5 adults). We loved having coffee on the lanai and taking a swim in the pool that was perfectly shaded. The location was wonderful: close to restaurants, shops, and the beach. Kauai is a beautiful place and this was a fantastic home base for our first trip to the island. The only downside was there was no air conditioning, but it seems that most places don't have air conditioning here.

Amazing Views Hale was a wonderful base of operations for a multi-generational trip (6 and 9 year old boys, parents, 24 year old sister in law, and 3 grandparents). The pool and hot tub were a huge hit, especially since surf was rough while we were on Kauai. The beds were very comfortable, the house was large enough for everyone to find peace and relaxation, and the views truly are amazing.

We highly recommend staying at this funky home with a world class view of the ocean, amazing sunsets from the balcony, and a short walk to the beach. The lap pool and spa in the back yard is a fantastic bonus. The kitchen is stocked with most anything you need to go with your groceries. The bedrooms are great for a family or even more than one family.

Everything is as advertised and more!

The house is perfect! Comfy, quirky, with everything you could need.

We arrived a tad before check-in and were allowed to unload our bags before we headed back to Lihue for a trip to Costco. Upon return the house was ready and more than we hoped for. We all raced upstairs to see the "Amazing Views." From the upstairs deck you have a great view of Poipu Beach Park and the sandspit, but just wait until the sun sets.

Every morning we took a quick 5 minute jog down to Brennecke's or Poipu and found multiple sea turtles laying on the beach.

Plenty of informative notes on fridge about civil defense alarm, trash, and other instructions for house features.

We made plenty use of the outdoor shower, pool and hot tub. It was so convenient when getting a little hot to just open up a downstairs door and hop in the pool.

The grill was very clean and worked great once lit. Use a lighter, automatic ignition does not work.

So many beach accessories! Snorkles, masks, fins, chairs, backpacks, umbrella, and kids toys. These are used by all renters, don't have the mindset of being able to use brand new equipment. My snorkel was attached with a hair tie, and worked GREAT!!!

Plenty of towels and having laundry service in house was a big plus.

I would definitely recommend this property to a friend and we will definitely be back.

Make sure to eat at Eating House 1849 for dinner one night. Absolute best food in the nearby shopping center. Also stop at Da Crack for a fish burrito and Makai Sushi in the market next door for lunch.

From the very beginning, Christine was amazing in helping us get the reservations done for this house. The home is beautiful. We had 7 girls and 3 adults staying there for a volleyball tournament on Kauai. This home was perfect for us. The upstairs living area was big enough for us to hold group activities with the girls. The kitchen was perfect for cooking our meals, which helped bring the cost of the trip down since we didn't have to go out to eat. There were more than enough beds for all of us. The couch was so comfortable that one of the adults decided to sleep there. Having three full bathrooms made the mornings easier to manage. And of course the view was absolutely amazing. It can get a little hot in the late afternoons but when the winds were blowing the breeze came right through. The owners provided several fans in each room which helped a lot with the heat.
The only reason I give it 4 starts was the parking. The house is located on a turn and the parking for 2 minivans was very tight.
I would definitely recommend this house for a big group or family traveling to Kauai.

Stayed at Amazing Views Hale in early March with my husband, our 2 1/2 year-old son, and my sister, her husband and 10 year old daughter. This house was large enough to accommodate all of us. Lots of space, beautiful views and lots of amenities! The house is in walking distance to Poipu Beach Park.m, which is a great beach that offers snorkeling opportunities and a safe, shallow swimming area for small children. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and and will definitely be back!

This is a great house, we really enjoyed our stay! It worked great for our family -- three couples and a 2-year-old. We loved the layout, but it doesn't offer a ton of privacy. Also, with the pool and the stairs it's not the most toddler safe house.

Home was perfect for two families with kids and one grandmother. Rooms were spacious. Great location - walking distance to perfect snorkeling beach. Home was well equipped with tons of beach equipment (snorkels, fins, chairs, boogie board, surf board, ice chests, and umbrellas for beach/rain). Tons of beach towels- no need to pack extra. Glass doors open completely in the dining room to let the outside in. We had a fantastic time!

Our stay at Amazing Views Hale was amazing! The house was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. Their were 8 of us and plenty of room. We took turns cooking dinner every night in the kitchen and played board games. The view from the upper deck was spectacular. My husband and son could check out the surf every morning from the deck. The pool was refreshing and the hot tub relaxing. It took us about 10 minutes to walk to the beach. The house came with boogie boards, beach chairs, scuba gear and ice chests. Plenty of beach towels and they even had sunscreen and mosquito repellent. The 2 vases of real flowers were beautiful. Our vacation was the best!We would love to stay at the house again. We highly recommend it!!!

Our family of 6 loved our stay in Amazing Views Hale. The house was spacious and very well equipped. We didn't use the pool much but the hot tub was used! Sunset could be seen from the balcony. The location/neighborhood was very nice and a short walk to the beach.

Kauai is a beautiful island and we enjoyed snorkeling in Poipu, a helicopter tour of the island, some of our group went on a half day scuba dive, we drove through Waimea Canyon and spent several hours hiking there.

We enjoyed dinner at Keoki's Paradise and Pizzetta, and lunch at Kalapaki Beach Hut after our helicopter ride.

Poipu365 was very easy to work with, and any questions I had were answered quickly.

Amazing Views Hale contributed to what our family of 6 said was "The BEST vacation ever!" We are a family of two grandparents, a young adult aunt, and young parents with a three-and-a-half year old daughter. The second bedroom with the sunken area was perfect for the young family to have their own space, and the rest of the house offered lots of room for all. The lap pool and hot tub were utilized almost daily, as was the grill. Walking to Brennecke's beach was easy (cutting through the condo parking lot a little way down the hill to avoid the street traffic) and very pleasant, as was the walk to the Hyatt on the beach path. We loved, loved, LOVED the views, amazing sunsets, spying Nihihau, watching the rain clouds bypass Poipu, double rainbows, whales galore, and the boat traffic - so much fun! The house is beautifully decorated and quite comfortable.

Every single time we looked for something, we found it, including things like: many convenient electrical outlets for charging gadgets; kitchen equipment such as a juicer and a coffee grinder; olive oil, salt and pepper, etc. etc. etc.. Just perfect.

True to it's name, the views were amazing. This house shows it's age with slow flushing toilets, old hardware (front doorknob fell off) and a vintage/almost non-working toaster oven. The doorknob issue was taken care of in a timely manner when reported. We enjoyed the flower bouquet we were brought upon arrival.

My wife, son, daughter-in-law, her parents and our 9 month old granddaughter stayed at Amazing views for 3 fantastic weeks. The house felt like home, a home with views that made you have to pinch your self very morning to make sure they were real. The bright open living area let you really experience the refreshing breezes and sound of the surf in the evenings. The location is perfect. We walked to the beach every day and watched turtles playing the surf. In the evenings we shared getting away to some great restaurants, many easy walks from the house. It was truly a fun and relaxing vacation for all of us.

We Loved the "Amazing Views" House on the crater. It was even nicer than we thought it would be. There was lots of space & views from every room. We saw whales, swam & hot tubbed every morning. The house is so beautiful, spacious, excellent lighting throughout. The kitchen was awesome, stocked to the nines and a great setting for preparing meals. The only complaint was the heat not having air conditioning made the upstairs very hot but once we placed a few fans around we managed. Then the temperature cooled off and all was good. The outdoor pool, hot tub and shower just made our vacation that much better, spending mornings after our walk to the beach cooling off with late afternoon swims. It's location is perfect, a five minute walk to a beach and a few more minutes to Brennecks Beach and Poipu Beach park. Having all of the beach gear was a bonus, snorkel equipment, body boards, water shoes. A perfect home for our vacation!
