Sunset Kahili is a 5th floor vacation rental property located in the beautiful Poipu Beach area of Kauai, Hawaii. The property was specifically designed to capture the breathtaking sunsets over the ocean, providing guests with a truly unforgettable experience.

The condo is located in close proximity to some of the most popular beaches in the area, including Brennecke's Beach and Poipu Beach. These beaches are known for their pristine white sand and crystal-clear waters, making them the perfect place for swimming, snorkeling, and surfing.

The condo itself is tastefully decorated and well-appointed, with all the amenities guests need to feel right at home. The property features a spacious living area, a portable a/c in the bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and a private lanai with stunning ocean views. Guests can also take advantage of the on-site swimming pool, barbecue area, and other recreational facilities. The living room sliders open to the fragrant ocean breezes while enjoying paradise.

Of course, the highlight of the property is the breathtaking sunset views over the ocean that can be enjoyed from the comfort of the private lanai. There's no better way to end a day in paradise than with a glass of wine and the vibrant colors of the sky as the sun dips below the horizon.

If you're looking to cool off, there is an a/c in the unit, and an on-site swimming pool is the perfect spot to relax and soak up some sun. For those who prefer to stay active, there are plenty of opportunities to explore the area with snorkeling and surfing equipment available for rent nearby.

  We enjoyed our visit to Kauai! Love the area and the people. Our unit was a little dated and lack some kitchen essentials but overall was an adequate place to stay. My husband did a few minor repairs to the unit - clogged sink and tub, door fell off bathroom cabinet. Great view from the 5th floor. The A/C was a nice bonus in the bedroom.

  The best and most relaxing vacation in a long time. Views from the Lanai were spectacular, walk to the beach and to view Sea Turtles about 10 minutes. Dining and snacks a short 10 minutes as well. Quiet and rejuvenating! Place was clean, well stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans, glassware. Lihue only 1/2 hour drive, but grocery stores in Koloa were well stocked.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sunset Kahili 505; however we visited during the Kona 3 storm, so there was a lot of rain. Our view off the lanai was incredible, as we could see the ocean 190 degrees. We also saw a couple turtles swimming right in front of the property. The condo was located in Koloa town near the Blow Hole, close to the beaches and great restaurants. The property was clean, nicely decorated and well-maintained. The unit is near the road and there is a lot of road noise. We definitely would return there again.

  We loved our stay in Sunset Kahili where we enjoyed not only the sunsets but the sights and sounds of the ocean 24/7.Place is clean and was perfect for the 2 of us. We ate in frequently and the well stocked kitchen was helpful. Daily walks either east or west brought were rewarded with stunning ocean scenery.

  Wonderfully situated in Poipu on the south shore of Kauai, this older building offers excellent ocean views. We frequently witnessed whales spouting and breaching during our stay...and monk seals and sea turtles were abundant in the nearby beaches. The rented unit had some flaws...such as very poor bath tub drainage and venting issues with an undersized, portable AC unit and a laundry dryer (that actually vented into the bathroom, rather than outside.)
  But the location was excellent.

  We had a truly memorable experience this February at this Poipu property. The highlight was the expansive ocean view which not only afforded us daily sunsets but morning kayakers,outriggers, turtles,and we saw whales frolicking daily. The unit was clean and had everything as described. We used the pool on site more than the club membership but it was a nice option for gym,pickleball etc.The location was ideal for walking to the beach or hiking along the ocean. We snorkeled, hiked, golfed and loved going home to our lovely little nest afterwards.

  We had a very good stay. The building is not new, but was well kept up. Had all of the amenities that we needed. It was very warm when we were there, and AC would have been nice, but not essential. When we go back to Kauai in the next year or so, I would stay in the same Condo if it were available. Really liked the 5th floor, and for our purposes, it was well located.

  The view was amazing! The unit and all public areas were clean and cared for. The pool was great to. Our unit included just about everything we could need. My only negative was the pull out bed (couch). Not comfortable at all! Other than that we had a wonderful time and hope to go back again soon!

  We had a great stay in this condo. We had a fantastic view and every night saw an awesome sunset. The property description was accurate, and we had all the basic amenities plus dishwasher, wash machine and dryer. No A/C, but they provided 2 fans, so we were comfortable.

  Lovely in every way. I only wish our grandchildren (ages 9 and 11, and under supervision) could have been allowed the use the pool. They were ejected when their mother ran to put something in the garbage can. They are well-behaved but probably making noise, at 10:00am.

  The location of this condominium is spectacular. All balconies face the sea, where sunsets and outdoor meals are a joy. Poipu 365, the rental company, was responsive and helpful. The condo lacked many of the basics that many condos provide: snorkeling gear, table games, kitchen condiments, an ice chest. The condo provided beach chairs and an umbrella, though these were a bit overused.
